Machinery and Parts Sales
We need someone who is self motivated, and able to work as a team. They need IT, numeracy and literacy skills. Mechnical skills and knowledge of engines ( 2 stroke and 4 stoke would be preferred). Work would entail dealing with customers that come into the showroom at the parts counter, working out customers requirements, ordering parts / machines they need, placing the orders with our suppliers, and taking payment from our customers. Work also includes maintaining the showroom - restocking, cleaning and displaying the latest promotions. Alongside this we also run parts stores which need maintaning, re-stocking and stocktaking. This is a varied job with " never a dull moment " ! , which involves some heavy lifting. The hours would be Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm, and Alternate Saturday Mornings 8:00am - 12:00pm.
We are looking for more talented, motivated mechanics to work with us who is able to work as part of a team & under their own initiative. We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, flexible with a thorough working knowledge of the maintenance/repair of a range of agricultural & horticultural machinery.They would need a clean, current driving licence with experience driving a loaded van.
Work includes completing repairs, writing Jobsheets, routine servicing, puncture repairs, hydraulics, servicing visits to customers premises. We would prefer applicants to have experience of working on compact agricultural tractors, ride-on-mowers & other ground care machinery & 2 stroke engines, Applicants need to be able to weld, gas cut, problem solve & diagnose faults on machinery. This job includes all aspects of mechanical work & keeping workshop area clean & tidy. We offer training with Stihl,Kubota,Honda,Husqvarna after a period of emplyment with us. Lots of overtime is available in the busy spring season and a reasonable amount will be expected.
